WSHU’s well-received lecture series continues this winter with some fascinating — and wonderfully diverse — voices. From poetry to non-fiction to fiction, these authors cover the full range of human experience and you won’t want to miss a single speaker, or conversation.

Award-winning television newscaster and radio commentator Charles Osgood will take a humorous look at the last 70 years of presidential campaigns, when he speaks about his new book, "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the White House: Humor, Blunders, and Other Oddities from the Presidential Campaign Trail." One of America's favorite news personalities, Osgood anchors CBS Sunday Morning on television, and writes and anchors The Osgood Files on CBS Radio Network.
