How to listen with Mac OS and iTunes Webmaster's note: The following was contributed by Matt, a WSHU/WSUF listener: For Macintosh OS X and iTunes, the steps are simple: 1. Highlight the Internet address of the desired stream from below: For WSHU-FM music and culture: http://206.159.128.128:8100 For WSHU-AM news and Talk: http://peace.str3am.com:6850/listen.pls (similar to WSUF programming) For Sunday Baroque: http://206.159.128.128:8300 For Sacred Heart University sports: http://206.159.128.128:8200 (active only during a covered event) ![]() 2. Copy the address. (Press APPLE-C or select from the menu: Edit/Copy.) ![]() 8. In the iTunes main window, click on Source/Library, then in the display window click the "snapback" arrow (at the right). This will place a listing for the program stream at the top of your Library listing. Unfortunately, it will be titled "N/A" as no program information is added by the streaming server at this time. ![]() 9. You may create a new iTunes playlist and add the program stream listing to that list so you may find it easily the next time you want to play the stream. If you add streams for both WSHU-AM and WSHU-FM, they will be listed in your playlist in alphabetic order (even though the titles are both shown as "N/A"). ![]() 10. The next time you want to play the stream, go to the playlist and double-click the title you desire. ![]() |
