At age 63, former New Haven Firefighter Allyn Wright was enjoying his retirement as a security consultant registered in New York State. But Wright is now back in Connecticut, where his career started at the New Haven Fire Department. This time, he's serving as the new fire chief.
US Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut is one of two members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee calling for the beefing up of western sanctions against Russia. Murphy and Bob Corker of Tennessee said on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday that the sanctions should be directed at Russia’s petrochemical and banking industries.
