Connecticut Republicans have endorsed Greenwich Businessman Tom Foley as their candidate to challenge Democratic Governor Dannel Malloy in this year’s gubernatorial election. However, Foley still has to contend with a possible three-way primary in August.
The endorsement came on Saturday on the second day of the two-day party convention at Mohegan Sun in Unasville.
On Friday, the GOP endorsed candidates to challenge the state's five incumbent, Democratic members of the U.S. House of Representatives.

The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office has re-launched a program that tracks people with disabilities who have a tendency to wander off. The relaunch comes after two people in the region died after going missing.
