Incumbent Democrat Gov. Dannel P. Malloy, left, and Republican candidate for governor Tom Foley look at one another during an exchange about gun laws during a debate Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014, in Hartford, Conn.
Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy and Republican challenger Tom Foley met for their fourth debate of this election season. Things got personal for the gubernatorial candidates once again.
In recent debates, Malloy has questioned Foley’s business ethics and claimed that Foley had lied to the FBI about a 1981 car crash, that had involved Foley spending a night in jail. Foley has questioned Malloy’s integrity, saying voters can't trust him because he was investigated for corruption when he was mayor of Stamford.
Stamford, Conn., is the first city in New England to sign on to a national effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in urban areas by the year 2030. It's a public-private partnership of business, environmental and government leaders called the Stamford 2030 District.
2030 Districts aim to reduce emissions and consumption of water and energy by changing the way buildings are built and operated. The group says buildings are responsible for half of all energy consumed.

She’s based on a real doll, now kept in a basement in Connecticut with other artifacts her keepers say are haunted or possessed – the Warren Occult Museum.
