Six-person kidney chain started at Yale

Three patients across three different states have new kidneys as a result of a six-person exchange that took place in December.  The transplants happened in  Connecticut, Ohio and Maine, and the results were announced at press conferences in all three states on Thursday.

NY proposes swan hunt and capture

Health "death spiral" doesn't worry experts

New York's Department of Health released data on enrollment in its health insurance exchange this week.  The data show 26% of young adults are enrolling in the exchange.  This number is just above what experts call the "death spiral."
