Conn. firm agrees to pay $30 for misleading marketing

A Connecticut company has agreed to pay more than $30 million to settle accusations it mislead consumers into signing up for discount credit monitoring, roadside assistance and discount travel services. Stamford-based Affinion Group reached the agreement with the attorneys-general from 47 states including Connecticut.
