Connecticut's plan to expand the use of natural gas is taking a first step, with plans Monday to establish gas lines in downtown Wilton. Yankee Gas says it will install a 3-and-a-half-mile underground pipeline linking natural gas to Wilton's downtown business district, municipal buildings, schools and a community center.
