Profiles in Folk

Fridays at 10 p.m.

WSHU's Profiles in Folk is an exploration of the diverse world of folk and acoustic music, with many of the weekly shows centered on a theme.The show first aired in June, 1973. Throughout the entire time, it has been hosted by Steve Winters, a station volunteer. It is the longest running folk show on Connecticut radio.


Pat Wictor returned to Profiles for an evening of music and conversation on Friday, Jan. 22.
