Individual Giving…You Make the Difference.

One of the most important sources of income for WSHU is you. Support from individual listeners represents over 60% of our entire annual budget, and is responsible for keeping NPR News, classical music, and entertainment programs on our air. If you enjoy what you hear, please join the community of folks who make it all possible by making a contribution. Pledge now.

There are several ways you can make a difference as an individual:

Individual Giving

Whether you’re making your first-ever gift to WSHU, renewing, or making an additional gift, your dollars directly impact the programming you listen to. In fact, WSHU depends on the consistent, annual contributions of our listeners. Online gifts are the most efficient way to support us (they reduce paperwork and mailing costs) but we appreciate your mailed gifts and telephone pledges, too.

There are three easy ways to support WSHU:

  • Pledge via our secure server
  • Mail your gift to: WSHU Public Radio, Sacred Heart University, 5151 Park Avenue, Fairfield, CT 06825
  • Call toll-free: 800.777.9748

All gifts are tax deductible.

Club Level Giving

If you are able to support WSHU at higher levels of giving, please consider joining our special donor groups which are committed to preserving our quality news and music programming.

The Broadcast Society is a group of dedicated listeners who support WSHU at a level of $365 or more per year. We will thank you with more direct access to WSHU, invitations or advance notice of upcoming events, and six on-air announcements acknowledging your contribution. The latter can feature your name and/or your business, or can be used to honor a special person or event such as a birthday or anniversary. You may join the Broadcast Society with a single gift, several separate gifts totaling $365, or monthly credit card installments of $30 per month. For more information on the Broadcast Society, please contact Janice Portentoso, by E-mail or at 203.371.1255.

The Leadership Circle is an exclusive group of committed listeners who support WSHU at a level of $2500 or more per year. We’ll thank you with more direct access to WSHU management, invitations and advance notice of general and exclusive events, and on-air announcements acknowledging your contribution. The latter can feature your name and/or your business, or can be used to honor a special person or event such as a birthday or anniversary. For more information on the Leadership Circle, please contact Gary Brandt, by E-mail or at 203.371.1247.
