New Yorkers are deciding Tuesday if they want to allow seven new Las Vegas-style casinos in the state.

A proposal on Tuesday’s ballot in New York would raise the retirement age for some state judges from 70 to age 80. Opponents say the measure is too flawed to be approved. Supporters include the state's 68 year old chief judge Jonathan Lippmann, who says the law created in 1869 is an "anachronism".
