Arts group mounts opposition to development plan for historic Stamford post office

The fate of a historic post office in downtown Stamford, Connecticut is still unclear – two years after it was closed. The nearly 100-year old building is one of dozens of historic post offices around the country being sold or scheduled to close in recent years. A developer plans to build a high-rise luxury apartment complex on the property but an arts group is fighting it.
