Greater Bridgeport Symphony

The Greater Bridgeport Symphony opens its new season on Saturday, September 16th at the Klein in Bridgeport, Connecticut. 

Kate Remington talked with Greater Bridgeport Symphony Executive Director Mark Halstead about the revolutionary theme of this season's concerts, starting with music written before and after the Russian Revolution.

For the first time in over 30 years, the Greater Bridgeport Symphony Orchestra will perform Mahler's epic Symphony No. 5, Saturday, March 12th at the Klein in Bridgeport. Kate Remington talked with conductor Eric Jacobsen about why this is the right time to bring back Mahler's Fifth.

The Klein Auditorium has been a fixture of Bridgeport Culture for 75 years, and on Saturday, Nov. 14 it's hosting a party. Some of the most notable artists and ensembles from the region will be performing.
