Connecticut health insurance customers will have fewer private companies to choose from when they sign up for coverage beginning next week, but one more than customers will find in other parts of the country.

A new poll finds the majority of New Yorkers say they are not better off now than they were four years ago.  The sentiments do not seem to be hurting Governor Andrew Cuomo’s chances for reelection.

A New England gay rights organization is praising Connecticut's Department of Insurance for issuing a bulletin to the state’s insurers. The bulletin is an order that tells insurers they have to pay for gender transition treatments. WSHU’s Mark Herz reports it’s the second state in New England to issue such a bulletin.
