Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel walked out of the Connecticut Superior Court in Stamford Thursday after posting a $1.2 million bail. A judge granted bail after his 2002 murder conviction was thrown out. WSHU’s Kaomi Goetz attended the hearing and has more.
A Connecticut judge ruled on Wednesday that Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel cannot be immediately released from prison while he awaits a new trial in the 1975 slaying of his neighbor Martha Moxley with a golf club. The judge did lift a stay clearing the way for Skakel to seek bail at a later date.
