  Activist and GreenPeace ship captain, Peter Willcox, was recently released from jail in Russia along with 29 members of his crew. They were arrested for protesting Russian oil drilling in the Arctic.

The Norwalk and Danbury hospitals have officially merged. Officials made the announcement Wednesday night at the Norwalk Hospital’s annual meeting.

Former Norwalk Police Chief Harry Rilling was sworn in as the Mayor of Norwalk on Tuesday. He replaces outgoing mayor Dick Moccia, who Rilling defeated in the November 5th election.
