Ohio Governor John Kasich was in Connecticut again Friday, trying to reassure his supporters that he still has a chance to win the presidential nomination at the Republican convention in Cleveland.

An adjunct professor at Eastern Connecticut State University has apologized for calling the Republicans in Congress “racist, misogynist, money-grubbing people.’ He said it during a class on Monday. The apology comes after GOP leaders in Connecticut expressed outrage that a teacher at a state university would make such comments.
