Craig produces sound-rich features and breaking news coverage for WSHU’s Morning Edition and All Things Considered. His features have run nationally on NPR’s Morning Edition, All Things Considered and Weekend Edition, as well as on Marketplace. Craig has won a number of national and regional awards for his reporting, including the national Society of Professional Journalists Sigma Delta Chi award feature reporting in 2011, first place awards in 2012 and 2009 from the national Public Radio News Directors Inc. and second place in 2007 from the national Society of Environmental Journalists. Craig is a graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and Tufts University.

Stamford model train display is like "finding a live pterodactyl"

In the basement of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Stamford is a remarkable scene. There are streets and stores and shoppers. And lots of trains. The Stamford Model Railroad Club has been building this little world for more than 70 years, and this Saturday they’re hosting an annual open house.

Every Conn. school given a report card

Connecticut education officials issued a report card for each school in the state Thursday. It showed that based on test data, more than half of Connecticut's schools met overall performance targets in the state’s new school accountability system. This is the first report on schools using that system.

Murphy returns from fence-mending trip to Europe

U.S. Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut returned Wednesday from a 3 day trip to Germany and Brussels. The trip was intended to help manage the relationship with Europe following news of spying there by the NSA.
